We are inviting everyone to attend a "Meet and Greet" with Minister and Consul General Neil Frank R. Ferrer from Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and Philippine Labour representative Mr. Francisco Luna from Toronto. Consul General Ferrer had requested our CommUNITY to arrange a meeting with our kababayans. So, I highly encourage everyone to come and show our CommUNITY hospitality and take the opportunity to speak with them regarding any question you might have with regards to your immigration/work status especially our kababayan under the Temporary Foreign Worker status (including caregivers). I am aware of some of your challenges/situation and the opportunity is here to voice out your concerns personally. I am confident that they will take the input that we will provide to ongoing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) negotiation between Philippine government and New Brunswick. So, here are the details of the meeting:

This is Mr. Ferrer's first visit to Fredericton and we want you to take the opportunity to meet him. Last year, we had assisted the Ambassador entourage on courtesy meeting with Lieutenant Governor Nicholas, Premier Alward, Mayor Woodside and other high profile politicians. Then, Mr.Luna and Philippine Ambassador to Canada, Leslie Gatan, attended and participated in the Filipino Community meeting last year with representative from Population Growth Division, Canadian Labour and Western Union during the Remote Consular Services.

As we had communicated 2 weeks ago, below is the official announcement of Consular Outreach Mission Services in Charlottetown, PEI and St. John, NB. For passport renewal services, please call the embassy for your preferred schedule soon as you can and double check the requirements by clicking the official announcement.
