Need Caregivers?

The Filipino caregiver could be one of the best caregivers whom you could hire to take care of your children, elderly and persons with disabilities since they are trained for the job. They are well known as a kind heart people, warm people and most of all sensitive and easy to adapt in all ways of life style.

We have members of our CommUNITY that are presently here in New Brunswick that are looking for employers.

November 21, 2010

Mga Kababayan,

The Filipino CommUNITY of New Brunswick (FCNB) has been celebrating our Annual CommUNITY Christmas Party for more than 6 years. Once again, we are inviting you to celebrate the occasion with us on December 4th, Saturday at 4:00 PM at Forest Hill United Church, 45 Kimble Court, Fredericton. Please refer below for direction to the area.

This is a potluck gathering and we are encouraging everyone to bring a special dish, dessert and non alcoholic beverages to share with everyone. We have prepared games, adult exchange gift ($10.00 min.) and made an arrangement for Santa Claus to drop by and distribute gifts for your little ones.

This year we have invited a special guest and live band to perform during the gathering. We will be collecting $10.00 per family to cover for related expenses (party venue, technical equipment rental, decorations and cutleries).

For more information, visit us at http://www.pinoys.org

Please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to confirm your attendance on or before December 1st.

Thank-you and we'll see you there!

November 8, 2010

Kabayan,

By now you should have received an invitation for our 2nd General CommUNITY Meeting this coming Saturday 3:00 PM, November 6th at Morning Gate Church (74 Morning Gate drive, Frederciton NB). Our main agendas are the 1. Presentation of the Steering Committee Project Initiatives and 2. Review/Approval of the FCNB By-Laws. I have attached the proposed FCNB By-laws to provide everyone enough time to review the document before the meeting. I HIGHLY ENCOURGAE everyone to actively engage in this review process to be able to discuss and engage in the CommUNITY discussions.

Our meeting is not complete without the celebration of Birthday Celebrants, Wedding Anniversaries, New Members Welcome Party and Special Day. REMEMBER THIS is a POTLUCK event. We encourage everyone to bring your favourite dish to share with everyone. The CommUNITY will be providing cutleries and soda pops and cake to this event.

Since we are celebrating the October and November birthdays/weeding anniversary, we encourage  celebrants to take this opportunity to make this day their birthday venue celebration by bringing extra food/decoration.

Please let me know if you need direction to the venue.

Salamat ulit,

Rolland
