2013 General CommUNITY Meeting

The CommUNITY is calling all members to our General CommUNITY Meeting at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 07, 2013  at Grant Harvey Centre (600 Knowledge Park Drive, Fredericton, New Brunswick E3C 2N5).

The Filipino-Canadian CommUNITY of New Brunswick (FCNB) will be celebrating our 9th Annual CommUNITY Christmas Party. We are inviting everyone to celebrate the Filipino Christmas tradition on December 14th, Saturday at 5:00 PM at Willie O’Ree Place, 605 Cliffe St., Fredericton.

 

This is a potluck gathering and we are encouraging everyone to bring a special dish, dessert and non alcoholic beverage to share with everyone. 

 

This year, we have exciting games, Christmas carols and will enjoy special presentation from surprised guest.  We have also prepared a number of activities for adults (exchange gift - $10.00 min, $15.00 max) and made an arrangements for Santa Claus to drop by and distribute gifts ($15.00 max) to your little ones.

  

Registration will be collected at the door for $ 5:00 for Individual and $ 10.00 for Family to cover for related expenses (party venue, technical equipment rental, decorations and cutleries).

The Reverend Rex Reyes is an Igorot Priest from Sagada, Mountain Province. He belongs to the Episcopal Church of the Philippines and is the first indigenous General Secretary of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), a fellowship of 10 church denominations and 10 service organizations. The Episcopal Church and the Philippine Independent Church are members of the NCCP.

7th Annual CommUNITY Family Fun Day

FCNB - 7th Annual CommUNITY Family Fun Day

Kabayan,

 

 

This year, the CommUNITY is celebrating its 7th Annual CommUNITY Family Fun Day - it will be held on August 10, 2013, 2:00 - 7:00 PM at the Potato Research Center Picnic area.This is an annual event demonstrating the importance of family activities, celebrating the accomplishment of the CommUNITY and providing an opportunity to meet and greet everyone.

 

We will be roasting and providing the "lechon" (Filipino pig roast) on site in appreciation to everyone's continued commitment to the CommUNITY activities this year. This is also a potluck picnic and we are encouraging everybody to bring a special dish, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages to share with everyone. We are preparing games and water activities (slip 'n slide) for all, so bring sun screen lotion and extra clothes (bathing suits, towel, etc.) and share a family fun day with us.
